1. Who we are
This website (testecidadaniaportuguesa.com) is operated by Fábio Magalhães, Portugal. Contact: [email protected].
2. Independent site — no connection with the Government
This is a private, independent project. We have no connection whatsoever with the Government of Portugal, the Institute of Registries and Notary (IRN), AIMA, consulates, Camões, I.P., or any other public body, and we do not speak on their behalf. We do not use or imitate official symbols as branding.
3. Not legal advice
The content is informational and educational. We explain in plain language the text published in the Diário da República, but we do not analyse individual cases. In Portugal, legal consultation (interpreting and applying legal rules at someone's request) may only be provided by lawyers, solicitors and other people the law authorises (Law 10/2024, Arts. 4, 6 and 7). For decisions about your application, consult a lawyer (advogado) or solicitor (solicitador).
4. About the questions
- Questions are original, written by us around the topics the law names. They are not official questions and do not reproduce any official bank (none had been published as of this version).
- Each question cites its source. The texts of laws and of the Constitution quoted here are public official documents.
- We review content carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, email [email protected] and we will fix it.
- No material can guarantee a pass in a test whose format and pass mark have not been set.
5. Pre-sale (early access)
- Price: €14 incl. VAT (final price), one-off payment, no subscription. Banks outside the euro area may charge conversion fees.
- Included: access to the bank of about 500 original sourced questions and the timed mock tests, in Brazilian Portuguese and English, once ready; free update to the official format when published; access guaranteed until at least 31 December 2028.
- Delivery: access to the full bank will be emailed by 31 March 2027.
- Payment: processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as reseller (merchant of record) and issues the receipt. Lemon Squeezy's terms apply to the payment.
Refunds
- Before delivery: until you receive access to the full bank, you can ask for a full refund at any time, no questions asked.
- Delay: if the full bank is not available by 31 March 2027, you can ask for a full refund.
- Incompatible official format: if the regulation sets an oral or interview-only assessment, proof by certificate or course only, or exempts your group from the test, you can ask for a full refund within 60 days of that regulation being published in the Diário da República.
How refunds work: reply to your receipt email or write to [email protected]. We process requests within 14 days. Refunds are issued through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method; if that is not possible (for example, a cancelled card or an expired issuer window), we refund the full amount by bank transfer to an account you indicate.
Right of withdrawal: as an EU consumer you have 14 days after purchase to withdraw without giving a reason (Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014). Because the digital content is delivered later, this right remains until delivery; once you receive access, it only ends if you gave express consent to the start of supply and acknowledged losing the right. The refund-before-delivery guarantee (item 1) is broader than the legal minimum. These guarantees are in addition to, and do not limit, your statutory consumer rights.
6. Permitted use
Content is for personal use. Copying, reselling or bulk-extracting the questions and explanations without permission is not allowed.
7. Liability
We do our best to keep information correct and current, with a date on each relevant page. The legal situation may change after the date shown. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions based solely on this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law guarantees you.
8. Consumer disputes
For consumer disputes you can use the competent alternative dispute resolution entity: CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo. More information on Portugal's Consumer Portal.
9. Governing law
Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
